Being a Mooresville, NC home builder for over 10 years, I have seen almost all the changes that have taken place here around Lake Norman. Mooresville was a peaceful and quiet village for centuries, and still is, but the explosion of interest in NASCAR has placed Mooresville directly in the spotlight of the nation. This spotlight has brought much growth and progress. Many natives to Mooresville, used to take exception to the growth spurt Mooresville has endured, but can never criticize about the revenue it has deposited into our humble community.
We have built many brick homes during this expansion, some for those directly involved in the NASCAR industry. Many of these brick homes come customized with libraries, bonus rooms, basements, theaters and every custom feature imaginable for a home. I have been very fortunate to enjoy Lake Norman, Mooresville and all the various communities around the lake, but during these slightly enduring times, I reflect on the days of yesteryear, and smile thinking of all the families that we have satisfied with quality build custom homes. Hard times come and go, we as a community and home builders will endure to enjoy the good times again, hopefully sooner than later.
